WATCH a five-minute video of a recent talk I gave at 'Ignite Liverpool'
I am excited to offer my services as a speaker at schools, workshops and corporate events.
I offer a range of tailored talks and presentations, often using photography and video, but always anecdotes, humour and passion. My recent years have been all about setting ambitious personal challenges and finding motivation, often from deep within, to achieve my aims. I've been lost in a land-mined jungle, detained for five days in Uzbekistan, skirted by avalanches, on the brink of frost-bite, spied upon, interrogated, threatened, and worst of all, told that my objectives are unachievable. The notion of constant goal-setting, self-belief and finding inspiration are the key messages I deliver in all my talks. Through my experiences, I have built an array of relevant stories, from the hard-hitting to the downright bizarre, which I share to engage audiences with my primary belief; that with guts, drive and resilience, anything is possible.

You can read some of the testimonials I've received below:
'Oli is the epitome of desire and determination to succeed.'
Mike Hurn, Head of Education and Welfare, Wigan Athletic Football Club.
'We invited Oli to be our main keynote speaker for our Landscape Focus Day. Oli did not disappoint the audience of over 90 staff and suppliers with a really enlightening inspirational talk which left our team more than motivated to look at the days’ challenges that the Howarth business was setting them. I’m sure that when we have similar needs we will have no hesitation of giving Oli a call and learn more of his brave exploits.'
Duncan Barker, Group Buyer, Howarth Timber and Building Supplies.
'Many 'take-home' messages for staff and players from the Under 18's squad.'
Nick Chadwick, Under 18's coach, Wigan Athletic Football Club.
‘Oli visited our Year 10 students as part of the World of Work sessions we run in school where guests talk about their work. Oli's talk was a fantastic message for our students to receive. "Anything is possible." It was inspiring to hear of Oli's passion for travel and how this passion has helped shape an amazing career. His curiosity for knowledge has enabled him to explore remote parts of the world, and take on huge challenges in climbing many of the world’s highest mountains, as well as leading students in overseas expeditions. I strongly recommend Oli to talk to any group of school children as his confident but friendly nature makes him a very entertaining speaker and yes, leave time for plenty of questions from your students!’
James Garrett, Deputy Headteacher, North Bridge House School, London.
‘Wow!!!! Your talk was really inspirational Oli. Thank you for doing it and I look forward to reading the book!’
Caroline Ford, Mawdesley Millennium Green Annual Fundraiser.
Oli came to our school as part of a World of Work programme. He Wowed our students with tales of adventure, exploration and mountaineering. Oli was a truly inspirational speaker, he encouraged the students to work hard, follow their dreams, and never give up! The presentation finished with a Q&A session and the students ran out of time long before they ran out of questions. It is well worth hearing Oli speak.
Jack Georgeou, Deputy Head of Year 10, North Bridge House School, London.
'Totally in awe today. Inspiring and entertaining!'
Anne-Marie W-B. Link Tutor, North West Shares SCITT Program, Annual Graduation Ceremony.
'This was very relatable to us. I have taken a lot of key points from this, how to dig-in when times are tough, and the need of independence.'

'Oli France is the modern day adventurer!...Oli has taken the time to come and speak to the children in my school, where we have followed every step of his journey. He left children from one of the most deprived areas in the country feeling inspired, courageous and believing they could achieve anything they set their mind to. What a guy!'
Mr Brown. Year 5 teacher, Platt Bridge Community Primary School, Wigan.
'Oli planned his talk with great care and detail and ensured it was appropriate for the age of the children. His delivery was very clear and he answered all the questions honestly and with humour. All the children were engaged throughout and they took away many ideas and messages, especially perseverance and trying hard'
